Products
What are your items made from?
All our pieces are made from the highest quality 925 sterling silver with either a 14ct, 18ct or 24ct plating. This means that every piece is nickel-free, hypoallergenic and comfortable to wear in everyday life.
Are your items waterproof?
Exposure to water can cause the gold plating to wear away revealing the silver base underneath. It is important to care for your item by keeping it dry and clean with the Austens polishing cloth sent with your order. Our jewellery should be stored in our anti-tarnish Austens pouch and kept in a dry, cool place. By adhering to these important care guidelines, you can help to preserve the beauty and integrity of your gold-plated silver jewellery pieces.
Are your items hypoallergenic?
All our gold plated silver jewellery is nickel free and hypoallergenic but we cannot guarantee cross contamination due to nickel potentially being used in the same jewellery manufacturing factories.
How do I measure my ring size?
To measure your ring size, wrap a piece of string around your finger, and mark with a pen where the ends meet. Use a tape measure to measure up to the mark, and use the following chart to select your ring size:
The item I want it out of stock. Can I pre-order?
Sadly, we do not offer pre-order at the moment however, make sure to add your details to the product page to be notified as soon as the item is back in stock.
What packaging do the items come in?
Our beautifully designed packaging is made with care and attention to detail. Each item will come with a white jewellery box and a navy blue anti-tarnish jewellery pouch. Each order will also receive one Austens silver polishing cloth.

We deliver to all UK addresses
How long does delivery take?
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 1 working day, though in rare instances this may take a little longer. The moment your piece is on its way, you will receive a personalised confirmation email with the shipping details.
Within the checkout, you can select between Standard Delivery (3-4 working days) or Express Delivery (1-2 working days).
How much does delivery cost?
We offer free delivery on all UK orders over £60. For orders below £60 we offer a standard delivery and an express delivery option.
Do I need to sign for my parcel?
Royal Mail will not ask for a signature upon receipt. Instead they may use others methods such as taking a photo as proof of delivery of they wil lrecord the prcise GPS location.
I am missing an item from my order. Can you help?
If an item is missing from your order, email us straight away at sales@austensjewellers.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the parcel you have received, please include the shipping label in the image.
We will check with our team to see if we can locate the item, or if we think it has been lost/damaged whilst in transit so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
My order has been returned to sender
If your order has been returned to sender, please get in touch with your order number along with an alternative delivery address, and we will re-dispatch your order as soon as we have received it. Please note depending on the circumstances, you may have to pay an additional shipment fee.
Can I make changes to my order?
We are sadly not able to make changes to your order once it has been placed. Please ensure that all information provided is correct at checkout.
Where is my order
You can view your order status on your account. Go to your Austens account and select 'My Orders to review the order status. Once your order is packed and ready to be sent to you, you will receive a Royal Mail tracking number via email. Your parcel can then be tracked via the Royal Mail website.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date.
Can I make changes to my order?

I've entered my shipping address wrong, can I change it?

Can I re-direct my order?
We are unable to re-direct orders once they have been dispatched, so please supply an address where you will be available to sign and receive your order.
Discounts
How do I use a discount code?
We have discount codes advertised on our homepage on our website. To apply a discount code, please type the relevant discount code in the discount code bar at checkout.
Can I use more than one discount code?
A limit of one discount may be applied to each order. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with free shipping discount codes, 3 for 2 sales, gift with purchase, referral credit, referral codes, bundle deals or any other type of discount. Austens has the right to hold and or cancel orders that use more than one discount code.
Do you offer a student discount?
Sadly, we do not offer a student discount at the moment.

Returns and Exchanges
What is your returns policy
If you change your mind, you can return your item for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, excluding earrings (for strict hygiene reasons).
To arrange a return, please email sales@austenjewellers.co.uk with your order reference and the item/s you would like to return.
Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number, which must be included with your returned item/s.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service that covers the full value of the items, as we cannot be held responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Once your return has been received, we will email you to confirm safe delivery
A further confirmation will be sent when your refund has been processed. Refunds are issued within 5 working days of receipt, back to your original payment method.
Can I Return or Exchange Items if I change my mind?
If you change your mind you are free to return your item for a refund or exchange within 14 days, excluding earrings (for strict hygiene reasons).
Can I Return a Sale Item?
Yes you can! We accept returns on all sale items, excluding earrings (for strict hygiene reasons).

Will my Original Shipping Charge be Refunded?
All delivery charges are non-refundable.
When will I receive my Refund?
We process returns within 2 working days of receiving them back into our warehouse, and any funds will be returned to your account within 5 working days from that point.
My Item is Faulty, What Should I do?
For all instances of faulty items, please contact us at sales@austenjewellers.co.uk with your order number and images of the item showing the fault and our customer service team will resolve this for you.
I Received an Incorrect Item, What Should I do?

Is it Free to return my Order?
Customers are responsible for covering the delivery cost of returning any items to us.
Warranty
What warranty do your items come with?
We have so much faith in the craftsmanship of our jewellery that every piece we sell is covered by our one year warranty. The warranty applies to all items purchased directly from Austens and covers any manufacturing defects under normal use during the warranty period.
Within the warranty period, if the item is proven to have a manufacturing defect under normal use, Austens will provide a like for like replacement, at no charge - If a like for like replacement is not available, an alternative of equal value or similar style will be provided.
Any replacement item will be covered under a new warranty period from the date of issue.
What does the Warranty not cover?
General wear and tear, improper handling or lack of care.
Damages caused by repairs, or adjustments carried out by a third party.
Lost or stolen jewellery.
Gold plating wear from silver base metal.
How to make a claim on the Warranty?
